Importance Of PCI BUS in the speed of Intel Processors.

PCI stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect. It's a kind of BUS firstly developed by Intel in 1992. It's fitted on motherboard and all the components connected through this BUS are noticed by the microprocessor. It is supplied with the microprocessor itself but in earlier days (almost till 2005) computer manufacturers used their own BUS instead of it and it resulted in slow processor speeds and lags. For this Intel was blamed. So Intel made it mandatory to use their PCI BUS which was optimized for Intel CPU's and it resulted in huge success.
